A Sustainable Vision

Söll is a ski clothing brand deeply committed to sustainability and creating a positive impact on the planet. From selecting recycled materials to designing durable and functional products, we prioritise practices that minimise our environmental footprint at every stage of production. Through ethical methods and a transparent supply chain, we strive to reduce our environmental impact without compromising on quality or performance.

To reinforce this commitment, we conduct a detailed carbon footprint analysis of our transportation chain between Shanghai and Sabadell using the Eco Calculator from the Port of Barcelona. Additionally, we have moved away from traditional printed tags on garments, opting instead for QR codes. These not only save paper and energy but also provide easy and direct online access to product information, further reducing our environmental impact.

We have eliminated plastic bags, and our shipping packaging is made of recycled and recyclable cardboard. Through these initiatives, we not only meet our customers’ expectations for sustainability but also promote a responsible and environmentally respectful shopping experience.

EOCA

In 2019, Söll became a member of the EOCA. Companies in this organisation work to preserve natural environments and ecosystems for future generations.

The European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) is a non-profit organisation that mobilises the European outdoor industry to fund nature conservation projects. Founded in 2006, EOCA partners with outdoor companies, including gear and clothing manufacturers, to protect and restore natural environments on a global scale.

EOCA funds a wide range of projects, from reforestation to the conservation of endangered species and ecosystems, aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, the organisation actively promotes reducing plastic waste in nature through clean-up and awareness campaigns. EOCA members work together to protect the natural areas that are so valued by their customers, with a vision to ensure that every outdoor activity contributes to the long-term preservation and sustainability of these spaces.

TREE-NATION

Tree Nation is an NGO dedicated to combating climate change through reforestation and ecosystem conservation. Since its founding in 2006, it has worked with individuals and businesses to plant trees in over 30 countries, helping to offset carbon emissions and restore biodiversity. Its digital platform allows users to track the growth of their trees and directly observe the environmental impact of CO₂ reduction, making reforestation a personal and transparent action.

Tree Nation stands out for its commitment to sustainability and collaboration with local communities, creating sustainable jobs and supporting regional economies. It also allows companies across all sectors to offset their carbon footprint through partnerships, promoting responsible and sustainable practices. In this way, Tree Nation fosters a vision in which each tree planted represents a meaningful contribution to a greener, healthier planet.
